  1. Sarah

I loved reading this with my daughter. My daughter is very adventurous; this book helped us talk about ways to channel that energy and inspire her at the same time.

Teresa Talbot is a dear friend and a wonderful lady. She has channeled every bit of her “wonderfulness” (not a real word but it should be) into this book. This is both an inspiring and sad story and somehow with her adorable artwork and beautiful descriptions she has made the story not quite as sad. I look forward to seeing which historical figure will be honored in her next book.

  3. Evan Koch

My dear friend and author Teresa Talbot is starting a wonderful series of children’s books to celebrate inspirational women throughout history. I love how she was able to take what is ultimately a very sad story and make it beautiful for children who might be too young to fully understand death. I am an adult but I still love her book!
